ABOUT DENISSE

Born and raised in California, Denisse graduated from UC Santa Barbara with a B.S. in Art History and Communication, and developed her culinary expertise over several years working for restaurants, catering companies and wineries along the coast. In 2008 she established Le Petit Chef to nourish her clients with wholesome, nutritious meals made from organic, responsibly sourced ingredients and has since served hundreds of happy clients.  

In 2012 Denisse founded Le Petit Eats, a food blog where she shares her most popular plant-forward recipes, which garners over 60,000 visitors monthly. Denisse also freelances for national brands such as Bragg, California Strawberries, OXO, siggi’,s Bob’s Red Mill, Robert Mondavi Wines and many more as a food photographer, food stylist and recipe developer. In 2018, she co-founded Hook & Press Donuts with her husband, John.
